WHY WE'RE CLOSING:

The text that went along with the

above Instagram post:

"Well, I’ve been putting this post off for a while now but it’s time to rip the metaphorical band-aid off, so here we go!

When I started this business 2 and a half years ago, I had no idea what to expect or where the journey would take me. Before I became pregnant and before it was even a thought, I always assumed that I would carry on with this floral journey, full steam ahead, while raising a little babe. Although I didn’t know where the road of entrepreneurship would take me, I figured that I could do this gig no problem with a baby in tow. Since those days though and since facing the actual reality of bringing a baby into the world, my thoughts (and heart) have shifted.

After what seems like a crazy amount of thinking, praying and seeking advice from mentors, I have come to the very bittersweet decision that it’s time for this chapter of The Little Flower Bunch to come to a close. I know this may seem like a crazy decision to some, while others will think it makes total sense, but to this mom-to-be, I knew that it was the right move to make. Running a small business is no joke!! Working 90 hours a week with a business model that unfortunately needs me at its core to continue running, I knew that there would be no time off and no maternity leave in sight. And to be real with you, I wasn’t okay with that. I’ve put this business first and foremost (a lot of times to the detriment of my own health haha) for the past couple of years and now, it’s time to shift the focus and make this amazing little miracle,

my wonderful husband and myself a priority.

Of course this was such a tough decision to make, as this community has been simply AMAZING! There would be no Little Flower Bunch without each and every one of you and I mean that from the bottom of my heart! You all have become like family to me and a piece of my heart will certainly go with you when the business goes! Thank you for this opportunity to serve you! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, for showing up at pop ups and workshops and for selling us out of blooms every week! Thank you for spending your hard earned money on our arrangements and inviting us into your own journeys! Thank you for coming alongside me on this

beautiful, wild ride - I will never forget it!!

With all of that being said, here are the details for what’s to come! We will be finishing up deliveries at the end of the month! August 30th will be our last day for bunches to be delivered, so if you know you need some blooms over the coming weeks, I would get those orders in soon. Because I hate goodbyes though and tend to drag things out longer than they should be , I have something else in mind! I’m in the works of planning a goodbye pop up (or maybe 2) for the month of September where you’ll be able to stop by and grab one last bunch and say hi! Keep your eyes peeled on social media for more details about those (as well as any other details regarding the status of The Little Flower Bunch and it's future).

Okay, I’ve now officially taken up enough of your time with my ramblings but I just wanted to talk to you all like friends for a sec because, let’s be real, that’s what you are to me! You’re my friends and my family and my supporters and holy cow I need to get off of here before I start crying!! Just know that I value each and every one of you and when I think back to my journey with this business, sure I’ll think of flowers but more importantly I’ll think of YOU all. You are the reason I do what I do and the reason the business is what it is. You rock, never forget it."

LOVE,

ASHLEA
